ShipPlottercanalsoreadBSBformatmarinechartsprovidedthatyoursystem
performance,memory,etc.canhandlethesizeofthechart.
Shipdetails-Inchartmode,ifyourightclickononeoftheshipsdisplayedinthe
chart,apopupwindow(right)displaysallthedatareceivedabouttheshipyouhave
selected.Ifyouareconnectedtotheinternet,thereisaSearchbuttonthatwill
accesstheITUshipcallsigndatabasetodiscoverevenmoredetailsabouttheship
includingitsportofregistry.
Messagelog-ShipPlottercanstoreallmessagesreceivedanddecodedinatextfile
forlateranalysis.Itcanalsostoremessagesinformatsthatarenotdecoded,ina
hexformatforsubsequentdecoding.
Radarview-ShipPlottercandisplaythepositionandidentificationofshipsona
circulardisplaycentredontheuser'sposition,whichcanbeadynamicpositionbased
onpositionsfromaconnectedGPSreceiver.ThisradardisplaycanbeeitherNorthUp,
orHeadingUp.
Serialinput-ShipPlottercandecodemessagesreceivedfromadedicatedAISreceiver
usingNMEAserialformat.
Serialoutput-ShipPlottercanoutputdemodulatedmessagestoanyAIS-compatibleserial
plotterusingNMEAserialformat.
GPSinput-ShipPlottercanincludepositiondatafromalocalGPSreceiveronthe
